High on Jesus began when I saw a man walking on a Texas highway, carrying a huge wooden cross.  I stopped and started talking to Larry . He invited me to go walking together the next day, to see what happens on a day of crosswalking. It inspired me to make a film about him…

Larry is a crazy Jesusfreak. Or wait, is he? True, he walks the Texas highways with his big wooden cross, often perceived as just another loony. But this man lives by his faith: helps the poor, prays for the sick. He could even be more dedicated than the regular churchgoers… And what could they learn from him? What could we all learn from him? Listen to and watch this unique individual who came from a bad place but turned it into something good.
